Mona Madison-botter

I was diagnosed with COPD in the summer of 2008. I was given two choices: (1) take steroids for the rest of my life; or (2) move to a small town in a very arid climate. I chose option 2. So, how was I going to sell my condo in Los Angeles during a very bad real estate and economic slump, and try to find a new place to live in another State? I got on realtor.com and found a few places in the small town of Rio Rancho, which has a lot of retirement communities. I must have contacted at least 10-15 agents by email, but only one person took the time to respond to me. That person was Mona Botter. I will always bless the day that Mona took the time to respond to me. She found me a real estate agent in Los Angeles willing to take on the task of selling my condo. Then, she previewed houses for me in Rio Rancho when she was 8 months pregnant. Much to both of our surprises, I received an all cash offer on my condo 18 days after it was listed. So, I headed to New Mexico 2 weeks before Christmas for a 3 day whirlwind house hunting trip. By that time, Mona’s baby had been born and the little one (at 9 days old no less) came along with us to help me find a place to live. Not knowing anything about Rio Rancho, I put my complete trust in Mona. I gave her a price range and simply told her to find me a house in a quiet and safe neighborhood … one where she would feel comfortable having her mother live by herself. She found that house on my first day of looking. I took a second look the next day and then made an offer the following day. Three weeks later, I was living in my lovely new house on a cul-de-sac in a wonderful retirement community with a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains. Mona not only found me a great house, she also helped me get settled into my new neighborhood. I was on the phone with her a lot asking about utilities, restaurants, movies, things to do, hot air balloon rides, tarantulas, where could I get good Mexican food and a good piña colada etc. It’s been over five years since I moved here, and I know I can always count on Mona to help me with any question I have. Mona Botter is definitely a real estate extraordinaire. This is my fifth property. None of the previous four real estate agents helped me after I closed. I know Mona will always be there for me … for all of her clients for that matter.

She is full of energy, extremely knowledge in the field, accessible, friendly, and explained the process well so I knew what to expect from selling my home to purchasing my new home. I completely trusted her expertise and felt confident with her selling my home and purchasing my new home. I highly recommend her to anyone selling or purchasing a new home.
