  • Charles and I connected, but did no business

      Very unsatisfied. Poor Communication. Unavailable. Unorganized. Changed closing 4 times within less than 24 hours notification. I was seller and under pressure because I had an offer contingent on my sale. He was made aware at beginning. He also knew closing attorney was NEVER going to be available on first agreed upon date. Office closed for that entire week! Something we realized only 1 business day prior to closure of office. Notice I used REALIIZED, we were never informed. Most offensive lack of professionalism was his total disregard of sellers closing date stipulated on contract that all parties signed! Closing date was very important due to sellers subsequent purchase of a home contingent on closing sale on stated date in contract and in a very competitive market. Closing date was changed 4 times! Always less than 24 hours, probably less than 12. Communication with this realtor was non existent. Unavailable after 5 pm and weekends. His paperwork was always done in his handwriting that was illegible.My realtor always typed for all parties to clearly understand. There was always items lacking or wrong. First Impressions of him were not good.I did get to meet him-he showed up 15 minutes early after many calls asking for earlier appointment. He was opening my front door as I was still in my home. When I returned my garage door was open and garbage was left just inside door. It was chicken wing bones my dog got into. It was not mine! He and the buyer is lucky my dog was okay. Had I not found a home to buy, had the seller of that home not extended the closing date, I would have gladly ended the sale because of the frustration and money Charles Skinner caused. Money that keeps increasing. I was unable to keep the date with the movers when closing date changed. This resulted in change fee, storage fees and that was day 1. I’ve been living in my new home on a air mattress I had to purchase, eating out, using laundromats. I’m sure he is totally clueless as to how much emotional stress and needless expenses have been a result of his lack of communication, responsiveness and unprofessionalism
