Chris Ristau is Elite.Our specific Real Estate experience involved many challengesand potential traps due to exterior elements that we dealt withduring the course of our purchase. However; Chris allowed us to navigate through them withoutconcern.My wife and I had a rather strict checklist that we needed tosatisfy while shopping for our next home and most homes didnot meet our needs. Our journey with Chris Ristau began at the end of 2017. As ayoung couple with little to no knowledge of real estate, we cameinto this completely naive and unaware of what the home buyingprocess actually entails. From night one, Chris constantlyreassured us that he would be there for us every step of the wayand no truer words have ever been spoken. Before you get into my review, please know no one is paying mefor this review and I am not afraid to call out flaws or issues,because no one is perfect.I have dealt with a range of agents over the years and ChrisRistau stands out from the other agents. I valued his knowledgewith both real estate and financing, but also his willingness toresearch things. No one knows everything, but people who cando research will usually find the answers, but many agents dowant to put in the effort. I was not a big spender, but I believe Igot the same level of service a million dollar buyer would havegotten.Chris Ristau was good at dealing with not only myself and mywife, but my parents since they were helping with the downmoney, they had input on choice of homes. I know in sales, toomany decision makers makes things messy. On top of that, Iended up having to buy under a tight timeline. Due to the timepressure, I ended up looking all over the place and Chris rolledwith it.We had a few failed bids and one failed escrow due to the homeowner hiding 30-50 grand in foundation issues. I think weviewed thirty homes. These are things that can drive agentsnuts. Chris kept his professionalism and always presentedoptions in a logical matter. Never felt like he was pushing us tojust buy anything so he could collect his commission. Instead, Ifelt like I had someone working to get the best option possible. Itwas a sellers market, which usually the buying agent worksharder.
