We did not work directly with her, we are on the buying side and she was the agent for the seller. She contacted us with a counter offer in search of more money, which is fine. However she failed to meet a deadline to respond to our offer, in attempt to I assume to show the property to more people. Left us in the dark for almost 24 hours. 24 hours we lost to look for our future home for her greed. I would never work with her or in proximity of her or her company ever. It’s a complete joke you couldn’t show common courtesy and just tell us, within the set deadline that you guys weren’t interested in our offer. This could have been avoided. There’s no repercussions for you guys so just treat people however you’d like right? I will be sure to never do business with merit Co. and let all my friends and family looking for a home to do the same.

I would NEVER recommend realtor, Lisa Goddard, to ANYONE. She was INCREDIBLY IRRESPONSIBLE in assisting my son’s family in their process of a long-term rental home in Colorado Springs. Her response to text messages, emails and phone calls took days. After completing the necessary application process and days of repeated attempts to contact her, she finally, after 6 days, told my son she had “decided to go with someone else”. They were scheduled to move 3 days later! I don’t believe she can be trusted to follow through on things in a professional and timely manner.
