We moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for my wife's work. I was impressed starting with my first conversation with Nick. Before my relocation, he had been assigned to me by my company - the only other experience I had with an assigned realtor was absolutely underwhelming, but with Nick I felt like we had hand-picked him to match our personalities and our needs. He spent an hour on the phone with me to explain the local market, optimal timing, and although I was eager to get started months before it would have made sense to do so, he offered to take us around on neighborhood tours. I would like to acknowledge Nick Delis for all his extraordinary efforts and assistance in purchasing a home in San Mateo County. I currently reside on the east coast and was looking to purchase a second home, close to where my daughter was residing. I only had a two week window to secure a deal. Nick was invaluable in providing outstanding guidance and counsel in this search. His knowledge and understanding of the area and market were spot on. In addition Nick was always cognizant and respectful of our requirements and would never recommend any property that had undesirable characteristics(near power lines/stations, highways, etc). As you know the market in this area is very aggressive and fast paced. We identified a lovely home that was priced right at the upper limit of our budget. Nick was aware that this property was very desirable and reasonably priced for the area and that we had to move quickly or loose the opportunity. Nick drafted a proposal to the sellers that was accepted and we purchased the home. In addition, given we are not from the area, Nick has been very gracious to assist us with recommendations for landscaping services, sprinkler repair, masonry contractors etc, a year after the sale. And finally, what I was impressed with was Nick's approach to the offer and the negotiations. He is a stud when it comes to this. He does a great job of active listening, which allows him to pick up on the small nuances needed to improve an offer. The proof is in the pudding here: many of my friends put 10-20 offers on homes before they were able to lock something down. I Live in San Mateo and have worked with Nick to sell and purchase homes from the month of May to July of 2017. A true testament to Nick's work ethic and dedication to his clients is his willingness to reply to my phone calls and e-mails eight weeks after the purchase went through. Nick was always very informative and detailed with his responses to questions. Nick got us a good and fair price for the sale of our condo and helped to close a deal on another house with six prospective buyers. Nick is a terrific Realtor! My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home in San Mateo or Santa Clara county. In 2011, he helped us become first-time homeowners - a beautiful, cozy 1080 sq. ft. rancher in Pacifica. We really appreciated Nick's easy-going yet confident style during the process. He was a voice of calm during the emotional roller coaster of looking for and buying a house. My wife and I both work full-time and, at the time, our older son was just a two-year old, so we also really appreciated how accommodating Nick was with our schedules. I still vividly remember, signing our contract well after business hours in his office with our son in tow. Then in 2017, he guided us through the selling of that house ( for nearly 2X what we paid for it! ) and the purchase of a larger house in Pacifica. Just this past week, we contacted him to get his take on an estimate for some electrical work that had been mentioned in the home's disclosure form which we were finally getting around to. Nick responded in less than 24 hrs. with a lot of great advice and was even willing to schedule an appointment for us to meet with one of his go-to home inspectors. How awesome is that?!If you're like me, you read Yelp reviews with a skeptical eye, especially the ones that are over-the-top positive. Nick provided amazing client service during our hunting experience, and he continues to help us, even weeks after we closed escrow! He is quick to respond to emails, even after hours and on weekends, and diligently answers all our questions. He provides great insights about the real estate market and each house we visited. I think it's a telling sign that when you visit open houses, almost all the realtors know Nick Delis and have nothing but good things to say about him. Nick is very straightforward and competent. He calls it as it is, but might not be exactly what you want to hear.In addition. He is very used to working with corporate, tech and non folks. He explains next steps and is excellent in following up. He also works with and manages a stager that develops a specific design that promotes interest to a variety of buyers. He is so personable that it seems like almost anyone could have the pleasure to work with him.

As first-time homebuyers, the prospect of navigating the home-buying process was daunting, and trying to do so in the peninsula housing market even more so. Thankfully, Nick helped guide us through the entire process. We found our home with Nick's help. It was only our first weekend looking for a house when we met Nick at his open house. The home was beautiful and crowded with people everywhere. Prior to working with Nick we had a different agent that we struggled with for months. Once we changed agents to Nick, we were able to buy a house with just 2 offers (we made 10 with the previous agent). Nick took his time to learn what we were looking for and help us find some good houses even in this tight market. Where Nick really shone though was his connections and knowing how to bid.
