  • Tom and I connected, but did no business

If you are a property owner do NOT trust your property with Century 21 Accent Homes. The organization struggles with communication. Their business model is to have multiple individuals in the organization communicating with you versus a streamlined dedicated agent. This lead to the organization not property communicating with each other - or me. On multiple occasions they dropped the ball on simple tasks like filing paperwork that lead to other individuals in the organization unaware I had already completed the requested paperwork. Working with a property management company you hope to have a company who handles issues for you, however, the tenant's relator called me directly with questions because she was not getting a response from Century 21. If you are looking for a company to manage the communication for the tenant for you then this is not the organization for you. Also, if you are hoping not to wrack up various fees and for a company to protect your home and pocketbook, then Century 21 is not for you. I was charged near $500 in "repairs" for the tenant in the first 22 days of them managing the property. This is in addition to the $266 monthly service fee. After agreeing partnering together may not be the best and deciding to end the contact as of February 28, I have still not, as of February 22nd, received the rent the tenant paid that is owed to me despite the contract listing payments will be made between the 10th and 12th of each month. If you love your property and new to leasing it with a management company I recommend finding another company who focuses on better communication, advocacy and care for your property!
