The last 7 years, I have been working successfully as a real estate agent in the North Metro Atlanta area. Before my husband accepted a position at the CDC, I ran an interior decorating and construction consulting business, Chambers Interiors, in the Bay Area for over 10 years. I completely understand how important it is to connect with an agent that will listen and focus on your family’s needs. Atlanta metropolitan area has some great homes and communities, but you do have to be especially careful in this market. The real estate market in the last 5 years has experienced unprecedented change and the only rule right now is that there are no rules. The market emphasis has shifted from foreclosures to short sales and now to lifestyle moves as the market recovers. Procedures and rules seem to change daily making real estate sales practices of the past obsolete. O
