Norma James has been listing and selling real estate since 1992 and took the helm as Broker In Charge in 1999. Her excellence in the field was recognized when she was named Realtor of the Year in 2004, 2005, and 2007, and she has also led the Albemarle Area Association of Realtors as President for two terms. Her contributions to the community earned her the Women of Excellence award in 2019. A former Trustee for ECSU, Norma was honored with the Chancellor's Legacy award that same year. She has been celebrated by the public, winning the Reader’s Choice award as the top Real Estate agent in the area in both 2002 and 2019. Presently, she serves on the board of trustees for Truist Bank and acts as treasurer on the board of directors for EC Habitat for Humanity. Beyond her professional endeavors, Norma supports her husband on their farm as a truck driver during harvest and dedicates her free time to volunteering at church and within the community, cherishing every moment spent with her family.
